‘Dignity at Work’ is a term associated with the prevention of workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination. It promotes respect, tolerance, inclusion and fairness as norms in the workplace.

The Dignity at Work bill was first introduced into the House of Lords in the Untied Kingdom in the 1990’s and there is also a Dignity At Work Act (DAWA) currently being proposed in the USA. Many organisations have described their Bullying and Harassment policy as a Dignity at Work policy.
